
The University of Buner follows the semester regulations and rules of the University of Peshawar. The resource person/Subject teacher formally evaluates students through a number of pedagogical assessment instruments during the semester. According to this, a subject is evaluated as: sessional evaluation, Mid Term and Final Term examinations.
A combination of the following may be employed constituting sessional evaluation:
Final Evaluation
A total of 100 marks are allocated to a course or a subject. These marks are normally assigned as per following.
Marks Breakdown for assessment of each course shall be made as follows:

Note-1: The format of the question paper(s) shall be designed by the concerned teacher(s) in such a way that it should explore the students’ grasp of the subject and originality of thoughts/concept clearance and not only the stored up knowledge. All the subjective and objective questions should be on higher cognitive level.
